The first ever Guernsey Literary Festival took place in May 2011 and comprised a wide range of literary events, performances, themed walks, workshops and talks... and even a murder mystery! In addition there was a chance to meet writers such as Annie Barrows and Tim Binding and to find out why Guernsey is so special to them.

Online sales direct to the public via TicketSource accounted for 75% of the total sales for the four day run with the remaining being sold on the door.
