With each booking, we email confirmation to the customer in the form of an “e-ticket” which includes a unique booking reference and barcode. Customers can also opt to receive the e-ticket directly to their mobile phone!
On the door, use our software to scan and validate the e-ticket barcode. Alternatively, you can check the booking reference against the Ticket Bookings report available to print from your TicketSource Toolkit account.
This drastically cuts the queue to collect and pay for tickets on the door.

| How do my customers get their tickets? |
We operate an e-ticket system. This means that as soon as the customer´s booking has been processed they are automatically sent a confirmation email which includes a unique booking reference and barcode. The customer prints out the confirmation email and brings it with them to the venue. Customers can also opt to receive the e-ticket directly to their mobile phone as an MMS picture message.
When advance booking closes for each event date, you simply import the bookings into our TicketSource Express software to be scanned and validated at the venue. Alternatively, you can print out the Ticket Bookings report from your TicketSource Toolkit account and manually reconcile the bookings. The report gives you the name, seat numbers (where applicable) and unique booking reference for each customer.
You can either choose to use the customer´s e-ticket as their ticket in itself, or as a proof of purchase that you then exchange for a more conventional ticket on the door. Either way there is no need to post tickets out, or deal with payment on the door when tickets are collected, so drastically cutting your queues on the door. The net result is less hassle for all involved (and the event much more likely to start on time)

| Why bother? I get along fine with a paper-based admin system! |
TicketSource has been designed to mirror the tried and tested manual methods of keeping track of ticket sales. We´ll take the hassle out of distributing tickets and collecting money.
And as it is all hosted online there are some key advantages:
- tickets for your events are available to buy 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- you can accept credit and debit card payments for your events.
- your ticket sales can be managed by more than one administrator, each with their own TicketSource Toolkit log in credentials

|
 |
| How do I manage customers paying directly by cash or cheque? |
If you have customers wishing to pay you directly by cash or cheque, or you would like to offer complimentary tickets to customers then log in to your TicketSource Toolkit account and select the event, date and ticket quantities you wish to allocate to the customer. As with credit and debit card bookings, an e-ticket will be produced.
And remember, there is no charge for recording details of cash, cheque or complimentary bookings!
|
|
 |
| When do I receive ticket monies owing to me? |
The ticket monies for an event will be transferred to your nominated bank account within 7 (seven) working days of the final event date.
The amount transferred will be net of our booking fees and any refunds to be made to customers as a result of cancellation.
|
|
