The roll-out of the online mobile payment service is in response to our recent customer satisfaction survey, where event organisers voted it the most desired development for 2019.
TicketSource has launched online mobile payments to its online box office services to speed up the ticket purchasing experience. The service allows customers to pay for tickets without having to enter their credit/debit card details. Instead, users can simply pay via their iPhone using Apple Pay, Samsung Mobile using Samsung Pay or Google using Google Pay.
The development comes in response to a recent customer satisfaction survey undertaken towards the end of 2018. TicketSource survey’ed over 1,600 event organisers, asking them to vote on their most desired system development. With over 33% of the vote, mobile payments was the standout winner.

Through our customer satisfaction survey, we identified mobile payments as the most desirable tech development to our system. So we developed it! Attendees are the most important factor in our organiser’s event success. So, any tech development that can speed up the ticket purchasing experience is a massive benefit to them.
Rolled out in early February as part of our Box Office 2.0 update, mobile payments are now live on all event organiser accounts.
