Cheltenham Poetry Festival

Poetry can entertain, delight, inspire and transform. Cheltenham Poetry Festival 2019 boosts its power by fusing talks, workshops, an electrifying slam, hilarious comedy, song writing, dance music, and readings galore.. You can sit back and enjoy the work of some of today's leading poets, share a workshop to write poetry, or enjoy some classic poetry. We aim to give you an all-singing, all-dancing festival that fuses poetry, music, and drama. John Burnside winner of both the T.S Eliot Prize and the Forward poetry prizes,  described poetry as "the music of what happens". Please join us this year - you may even end up dancing in the aisles.
