A very special Christmas concert featuring two brilliant soloists Emmanuel Bach & Joel Munday.
Two young brilliant soloists join the Ensemble - EMMANUEL BACH (violin) and JOEL MUNDAY (violin)
Emmanuel is well know to Devon concert-goers and has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at venues including Wigmore Hall, St Martin-in-the Fields, St James’s Piccadilly and the V&A Museum. He was a prizewinner at the ROSL String Competition 2017, and Mirecourt International Competition 2016, and was winner of the Una Clark Competition. Notable performances include playing as a co-soloist with Anne-Sophie Mutter in Bach’s Double Concerto, and giving the UK premiere of Lennox Berkeley’s Sonata No. 1. Earlier this year, he played in a live-streamed masterclass conducted by Maxim Vengerov, on the Brahms Concerto. He is a selected Artist on the Countess of Munster Recital Scheme. He has performed three violin concerti with the Isca Ensemble to high critical acclaim.
British violinist, Joel Munday from Tedburn St. Mary and educated in Devon has been playing the violin since the age of seven. As a student of Michael Johnson for eight years, he moved to the Royal College of Music Junior Department in 2016. He was the winner of the Royal College of Music JD’s Peter Morrison Concerto Competition in 2017 and currently holds a scholarship for advanced studies at the Royal College of Music under Professor Ani Schnarch. He has won other prizes including the Gregynog Young String Player of the Year in 2018, was the winner of the Two Moors Festival’s Young Musicians’ Platform Competition in 2016 and also the third prize winner at the Whitgift International Music Competition in 2017.

Corelli : 'Fatto per la Notte di Natale' - 'Christmas Concerto' Op. 6 No 8
Mozart : Symphony No 41 'Jupiter' K 551.
Tickets have been in very high demand and the allocation of tickets
online have all been sold.
However, there may still be a few tickets available at

In addition, a limited number of STANDBY TICKETS may also be available
at the door at £12 on the night of the concert from 7 p.m.
These seats are behind the first violins offering
reasonable visibility of the orchestra and soloists or at the back of the church.
