Blindside by Stephanie Morin-Robert

In a feat of riveting comedy, one-eyed storytelling champion and cancer survivor Stephanie Morin-Robert recounts her life as a feisty 7 year-old who wields her glass-eye as a superpower.

When Stephanie was young, her father, a diamond prospector in Canada, made a fortuitous discovery and relocated the whole family to a more luxurious lifestyle. What he failed to notice was that his daughter, a young and sheltered cancer patient, was really struggling to find ways of facing the bullies in her new school.

Part physical-theatre, part storytelling with some up close and personal live projection – this show is a fantastically funny revelation of how Stephanie discovered the strength to fight back and come to terms with her disability.
