Mobile Incitement in Tower Hamlets

South London’s premier gay socialist folk band (probably) teams up with a C17th rebel to uncover England’s history of protest and ask what it all means today. The Black Smock Band and Tower-Hamlets-based Daedalus Theatre Company have worked with East London residents and Applied Performance students from Queen Mary University to create a truly unique, local gig-theatre performance, using historical material, new writing and material gathered through a series of tea parties. Expect a song, a dance and perhaps the start of the revolution!

Free, but numbers are limited, so you'll need to book.

If you can't make this one, we'll be performing again at Poplar Union on Sunday, 6th May, along with a pre-show tea party to gather new material for the performance.

Arts One, Mile End Road on Thursday 22 March 2018
From 3:00PM to 4:30PM
Ticket Price: 0.00
