We are an amateur drama group, formed in 1942, that performs in Frodsham, Cheshire. Our founder was Mr John Herbert Bu’lock, who had earlier founded the Castner Kelner Amateur Dramatic Society.
We generally perform two plays each year – one in the spring and the other in late autumn.
Our productions are staged at Frodsham Community Centre and St Laurence Church, Frodsham.
We have performed a variety of different plays over the years and are constantly looking to expand our repertoire. 2016 saw us stage our first open air performance of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
We are always keen to encourage new members to join our group, both to act but also to help with the many activities that are necessary to put on a play.
