Dippy on Tour: A Natural History Adventure

Following his visits to Dorchester, Birmingham, Belfast and Glasgow, the Natural History Museum's famous Diplodocus cast 'Dippy' is coming to the Great North Museum: Hancock in May 2019. Dippy lived in London for over 100 years but now he's on an adventure around the UK. Come and see Dippy and get inspired about the natural world!

During term time the exhibition space is likely to be busy with school visits between 10am and 2pm.

Relaxed sessions will be available every Sunday (11.15am) and on the first Wednesday of the month (4.15pm). These timeslots will have a reduced capacity and quieter atmosphere, making them particularly suitable for visitors with autistic spectrum conditions.

You must book a general admission ticket for every person in your party up to a maximum of 8 tickets. If there are fewer than 8 tickets available in a session, the system will show you the number remaining. Please choose a different session if you are not able to book tickets for your entire party.
