Family tickets / Group tickets / Discount for group bookings

There are two different ways to offer group tickets.


To create a group booking price category (customer books a set number of tickets):

  • Hover over the "Events" tab at the top the the page and select the "Modify Event" option
  • Select the event from the drop down list and click the "Modify Event" button
  • In the Price Category column, select "Add New Price Category"
  • Add a ticket description e.g. 'Group Ticket' or 'Family Ticket'
  • Add the price for the whole Group Ticket / Family Ticket
  • Add a comment e.g 'Group Ticket admits 4 people' or 'Group tickets admit 2 Adults and 2 Children'
  • Under the Ticket Type section, select "Group Ticket" and state the number of persons the group ticket will admit
  • Click "Save Changes"

You can also create a price category for individual tickets at a discounted rate, but with a minimum ticket purchase requirement.

  • Hover over the "Events" tab at the top the the page and select the "Modify Event" option
  • Select the event from the drop down list and click the "Modify Event" button
  • In the Price Category column, select 'Add New Price Category'
  • Add a ticket description e.g. 'Group Booking Discount'
  • Add a ticket price for an individual ticket
  • Add a comment e.g. 'Minimum purchase of 10 tickets'
  • Under the Ticket Type section, make sure the 'Individual Ticket' option is selected
  • Click the "Advanced Settings" tab
  • For 'Minimum Ticket Selection' state the minimum ticket number purchase required to obtain this discount, e.g. 10
  • Click "Save Changes"
