Literature Works is delighted to announce Quay Words 2019, a summer exploration of words and stories at the historic Custom House on Exeter Quayside.
 
We are the literature development agency for South West England, supporting creative writing and reading for people of all ages and from all walks of life in our region.  This summer we set out on a journey to explore the potential of the Custom House as a hub for literature on behalf of Exeter Canal and Quay Trust, the trust that looks after and develops the quayside. 
 
Come with us on the journey.  You can try your hand at all kinds of writing, have a go at storytelling, or print your own book bag. 
 
Come and soak up the words, lyrics and musings of some great writers and performers.  From Icelandic Noir crime writing, to story time for young children, we aim to have something for everyone. 
 
Come browse at our pop-up bookshop, curated by the Crediton Community Bookshop.
