The Passion of Alban & Livia

Roman Theatre of Verulamium, St Albans, AL3 6AE
Fri 21st June 2019 - Sat 22nd June 2019
A new play by local dramatist Imogen de la Bere and presented by Act of God, this focusses on the effect of Alban's martyrdom on his wife, Livia.  While tragic at its core, the tale of martyrdom is presented as darkly comic.

The evening shows are introduced by Pete the Temp, award-winning performance poet.  Original music arrangements by Nicholas Hare are performed by the Act of God a cappella.

Not suitable for under 8s.  The play contains the depiction on stage of a decapitation so parents should use their discretion regarding children over 8 years old.
