Scarth Memorial Hall
Scarth Hall is the village hall for Staindrop in the Durham Dales, named after Thomas Freshfield Scarth who was a land agent at nearby Raby Castle.
Refurbished in 2016 to a very high standard, Scarth Hall hosts a wide range of classes and activities, and organises events and concerts for the whole community.
There's a main hall with new sound and cinema systems, a modern well-equipped kitchen with a cosy bistro area, and two meeting rooms - one of which can be used as an IT suite. These facilities Scarth Hall are available for hire at very reasonable rates and the Hall is increasingly popular for social gatherings of all kinds, as well as business and commercial meetings and events.
