Professor Ronald Hutton, a superb and entertaining speaker will share his insights on the history and mythology of Glastonbury. He is a leading authority on history of the British Isles in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, on ancient and medieval paganism and magic, and on the global context of witchcraft beliefs. He is also the leading historian of the ritual year in Britain and of modern paganism. He has written many books, and appeared numerous times on TV and radio including Edwardian Farm and Victorian Farm. The talk will be held in the Community Learning space at the Somerset Rural Life Museum.
