Starmaker Theatre Company

Starmaker is a not for profit youth Theatre Company for children formed in 1988, it serves the young people of Berkshire by enabling them to gain experience in the performing arts.  The Company enjoys a thriving membership of some 70 young performers ranging from 10 to 18 years of age. Members meet up to 3 times a week to work on the current productions with additional workshops in dance, drama and song. Starmaker Theatre Company is a registered Charity Number 801294. Starmaker Theatre Company put on 2-3 productions a year and have performed at the Wilde Theatre in the South Hill Park Arts Centre in Bracknell, the Hexagon Theatre in Reading, The Concert Hall in Reading, The Alan Cornish Theatre in the Oakwood Centre in Woodley and at The Whitty Theatre in Luckley House School in Wokingham.

Starmaker Theatre Company presents All Shook Up, inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley.

It’s 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing young man who changes everything and everyone he meets in this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy that’ll have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”
