The Patesian Players
The Patesian Players were formed in 2011 in Cheltenham, principally from former pupils of Pate’s Grammar School. Since their first production, Peter Whelan’s “The Accrington Pals”, the company has produced a great variety of plays, from Ibsen to Coward, all of which have met with critical acclaim, and firmly established its reputation with audiences at the Cheltenham Playhouse and other venues.
The company typically produces two plays a year, in April and August, with rehearsals scheduled during university vacations to allow current students to participate.
