Stoke Newington's number one comedy club. TV names and rising stars in the intimate setting of Ribbons & Taylor cafe.
The next comedy night is on Wednesday 24th April. Doors open at 7:30pm and the show starts at 8pm.
Tickets are £8 in advance (there is a 60p booking fee) or £9 on the door.
It is highly advisable to buy tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
Alcohol and snacks can be purchased from the venue.

After a career in health and social care, Angela Barnes took the plunge and embarked on her life-long dream to be a comedian. Within a couple of years she had won the 2011 BBC New Comedy Award and became a finalist at the 2011 Latitude Festival New Act of the Year competition. Since 2011, Angela and her witty worldview have been catapulted onto numerous radio and television shows including appearances on BBC One’s Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo and BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz. In 2017 she took over the prestigious role as host of BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack. She is now about to host her 4th and final series of the show.
Inder Manocha has performed stand-up comedy all over the world since 2000. He has played all the major comedy venues across the country, from the Comedy Store to Jongleurs to the Hackney Empire. He has made successful appearances with the Comedy Store’s critically acclaimed ‘Cutting Edge’ team (improvised comedy on topical issues). In 2004 he won the EMMA Award (Ethnic Multicultural Media Award) for Best Comedy/Comedian, beating Meera Syal, Lenny Henry and Three Non-Blondes.
As an actor, Inder features in the film ‘The Blue Tower’, which won the Best UK Feature at the 2008 Raindance Film Festival.
He also appeared this year in Madonna’s directorial debut ‘Filth and Wisdom’, in which he plays one of the lead characters, as well as the BBC3 sitcom ‘Pulling’. In 2007 he appeared in E4’s ‘SKINS’ in the role of Anwar’s father.
Robin is a Welsh stand-up, writer and warm-up artist based in London. On stage he is "wonderfully cheeky and engaging" (Three Weeks), and is "a phenomenal comic - utterly hilarious" (Broadway Baby). He performed his debut hour show at the 2016 Edinburgh Festival, receiving glowing reviews including ★★★★ from the Sunday Times. The show was later adapted into a half-hour recording for BBC Radio Wales, as 'Robin Morgan: Proposes'.
In 2018, Robin performed stand-up on BBC Two’s ‘Stand Up At BBC Wales’. Robin is also a seasoned comedy writer for television and radio, with credits including Have I Got News For You (BBC One), The Mash Report (BBC Two) Blind Date (C5), The News Quiz, The Now Show, Rich Hall's US Election Breakdown and Spotlight Tonight with Nish Kumar (BBC R4), amongst others.
Dave Green has been doing stand-up comedy since 2011. Since then his otherworldly persona and paranoid riffs on everyday life have fast proved popular with audiences in the UK and beyond. In 2018 he did his debut stand-up show ‘Melt’ at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. “The show established him as a keen writer who approaches the everyday from a different angle” (Chortle)
