Bohemian Rhapsody (2018, UK/USA, Bryan Singer, 2hr 14 mins, Cert 12A) is a drama based on real events following the life and times of Freddie Mercury (Rami Malek), who became lead singer of the British rock band, Queen. Beginning on the day of the famous Live Aid concert at Wembley Stadium, the film looks back to the moment that Mercury first met and joined the group whilst working as a baggage handler at Heathrow Airport. Covering the development of classic songs such as Bohemian Rhapsody, major tours and personal relationships the story culminates in a detailed recreation of the legendary appearance at Live Aid. Malek's superb Golden Globe winning central performance is utterly convincing and the wonderful Queen songs feature throughout.
