How the tale of Beowulf Came to Britain with the Anglo-Saxons - the story behind Tony Bradman's new book "Winter of the Wolves".

A 45 minute talk/workshop followed by book signing.

Age range 8 to 11 years old

Tony Bradman has written many books for children of all ages - poetry, picture books, books for beginner readers, fiction for older children. In recent years has written lots of historical stories such as Revolt Against the Romans, Attack of the Vikings, Winter of the Wolves and Viking Boy. In 2018 he won the Historical Association’s Young Quills Award for Anglo-Saxon Boy, his novel about 1066. He also won the same award in 2012 for Titanic: Death in the Water, which he co-wrote with his son Tom.
