A rare opportunity to to visit a nature reserve and SSSI on this privately owned estate. Although this is not a long walk, it is a strenuous one, with steep climbs and descents on narrow paths. Agility and a head for heights are needed and walking poles are recommended. The start of the walk has very restricted parking and so car-sharing from Bishop's Castle is recommended. There will be a stop for drinks and snacks, so please bring any food and drink required. The walk finishes around 1.00pm. If you would like your lunch before returning to Bishop's Castle, please bring a packed lunch; alternatively, you could go to the Ludlow Food Centre cafe, located on the A49 approx 4.2 miles/10 minute drive away.
