Man Engine Cymru - TREDEGAR
Parc Bryn Bach has a long and proud mining history and has now been transformed into a beautiful country park. Here Man Engine will come face to face with Aneurin Bevan MP and the miners, colliers, quarrymen and ironworkers who clubbed together to form Tredegar Workingmens Medical Aid Society. Bevan used this as the blue print to ‘Tredegarise’ the UK when he introduced the National Health Service.
Throughout the day there will be adventure activities to enjoy throughout the park. Then in the afternoon join in the singing as we wake the man engine up and watch as he transforms to his towering 11.2metres and receives a gift of health from Nye himself. There will be plenty to keep you entertained with a fair ground, food village, stalls and activities.
