Selsey's History through its Buildings

Have you noticed what a mixture of buildings there are in Selsey?  People have lived here since Palaeolithic times.  Discover how Selsey has developed over the centuries from 17th Century cottages to the 2017 Lifeboat station.  Starting at the Arts and Crafts inspired Bill House we'll go along the coastal path to discover how the shoreline has changed, through Old Selsey, along the High Street to St Peters Church, and on to the old Coastguard station. You'll see Selsey's oldest buildings and find out how a small fishing village became a town of of over 10,000 people.  There will be a coffee break.  The walk is circular, flat with one steep step at the end and you are welcome to leave at any point as we will not be going out of the town.
