Cairn Chorus

Cairn Chorus’ spring programme draws inspiration from the final line of Gerard Manley Hopkins poem ‘Inversnaid’, which captures the essence of the wild and rugged landscape of D&G. The songs depict nature’s success stories, such as the Red Kite, which has made a dramatic comeback to the area.

Joined by The Galloway Agreement, combining the amazing talents of Wendy Stewart (harp), Gavin Marwick
(fiddle), Ruth Morris (fiddle and Nyckelharpa) and Stuart Macpherson (bass). They will play a selection of their own compositions as well as accompanying the choir.
