Tallis Scholars Choral Course, in association with Cheltenham College
An exciting course for singers of all ages and abilities exploring renaissance masterpieces in daily workshops with Peter Phillips and members of the world famous Tallis Scholars together with David McKee, Director of Music at Cheltenham College.
As well as opportunities to perform throughout the week, the course will end with a final concert in the College Chapel given by course members and will include renaissance works centered around the theme of Magnificat's through the ages, also to include Bach's Magnificat accompanied by a professional orchestra with soloists taken from the Tallis Scholars. The course cost will include a ticket to a concert given by The Tallis Scholars in the College Chapel.
Accommodation and all meals in Cheltenham College's state of the art boarding and dining facilities. Both residential and non-residential places are available, and both are inclusive of three meals a day.

Cheltenham College is set in historic buildings with outstanding facilities. The Music Department is housed in a regency former stately home, and the Chapel is well known both for it's generous acoustic and world class and recently restored Harrison and Harrison Organ.
Cheltenham College is an All-Steinway School, and has two Model D concert grands, as well as Model A Grand Pianos in the practice and rehearsal rooms. The Chapel also has a separate song school for rehearsal, making it the perfect destination for a summer choral getaway.
