Scarth Hall is delighted to welcome this brilliant young folk harmony quartet to Staindrop! Alex Cumming, Kate Locksley, Rosie Calvert and Will Finn met whilst studying on the Folk Degree course at the University of Newcastle, and formed The Teacups in 2010. Their voices and harmonies bring a fresh take to the traditional mixed quartet format, and after the success of their debut album, ‘One For The Pot’, the band took significant steps forward with their new album ‘Of Labour and Love’.
News of The Teacups' partiality to a fine brew has spread, so Scarth Hall will provide a selection of fine teas and homemade cakes and bakes - one more reason not to miss this gig!
Doors & bar open 7.15 pm
