Two one hour long Edinburgh Preview shows from two of top performers at next summer’s festival.
Lucy Beaumont is a hugely talented comedy actress and writer. She is a Sony Radio Award winner, was winner of The BBC New Comedy Award in 2012 and the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer in 2013.

Steve Bugeja is one of comedy’s most exciting rising stars. Since winning the BBC New Comedy Award in 2013, Steve has gone on to host the BBC Radio 4 series Economics with Subtitles, and has made numerous appearances on TV shows such as Love Island: Aftersun (ITV2), Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), Zoe Ball on Saturday (ITV1) and Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC).

Two work in progress shows from two rising stars of comedy ahead of the Edinburgh Festival. Spencer Jones (Edinburgh Best Show Comedy Award Nominee 2017, BAFTA nominee and TV star) and Sarah Keyworth (Edinburgh Best Newcomer Nominee 2018).

Lloyd comes back to Barnard Castle to try out some new jokes for a new tour. Jokes and some singing probably. Host of Soccer AM (Sky), Flinch! (Netflix) & Taxi To Training (BBC3). As seen on Bounty Hunters (Sky), Drunk History (Comedy Central), The Premier League Show (BBC), Strictly Come Dancing (one day). Jack Whitehall and Rob Beckett’s tour support and Diane Griffith’s son.

Funny Way To Be Comedy – Sophie Willan and Jonny Pelham

Two work in progress shows in preparation for a Radio 4 broadcast and an Edinburgh Preview. Sharp, eccentric and provocative, Sophie Willan (Nominated Best Show at the Edinburgh Festival 2017) has fast become one of the most exciting rising stars in British Comedy.  This is a work in progress show for Sophie’s hugely acclaimed BBC Radio 4 series, Sophie Willan’s Guide To Normality, which is back for a second series in July. Award winning Jonny Pelham is road testing material for his new Edinburgh show.

Two work in progress shows ahead of the Edinburgh Festival and the comics’ UK wide tours. 14+

Jan Ravens is the star of the award winning BBC comedy series, Dead Ringers. Jan’s unique view of our politics and culture makes her one of the country’s favourite impressionists. Following her record breaking 2017 show Difficult Woman, and a sell out tour with Rory Bremner in 2018, join Jan as she road tests her brand new show for this year.

Glasgow’s Stephen Buchanan won the prestigious BBC New Comedy Award 2018 and, in doing so, followed in the footsteps of some of the British comedy scene’s star names. Stephen was also named as Scottish Comedian of the year last year. His likable personality and self-deprecating material make Stephen Buchanan a hit with the audience and fellow comedians alike.
