Edinburgh Fringe preview comedy night in Barrow-in-Furness @ The Duke of Edinburgh
Thursday 4th July 2019
Raul Kohli will be doing an hour long preview of his Edinburgh Fringe show.
Raul has fast become one of the most captivating acts on the circuit. As one of the few Asians who grew up in the far north of England (Newcastle Upon Tyne), he’s been blessed with a view of the World that upends ethnicity, culture and class. Combining ‘superb political comedy’ with surreal storytelling, in just a few short years, Raul has gained a CV to be envious of.
From his Edinburgh Fringe debut: Newcastle Brown Male, to his most recent show: All My Heroes Are Dead in Jail Or Touched Up Your Nan, Raul’s solo shows have gained critical acclaim, including: BBC Radio 4, and the Huffington Post’s Pick of the Fringe. As well as several Radio and TV Appearances for BBC Radio 4, and BBC Big Asian Comedy Night among many others, and appearing at the biggest comedy clubs around the World (Laugh Canvas India, ComedyHuis Holland, Stand Edinburgh), Raul is also an award winning comedian, winning the NATYS, formerly the Hackney New Empire of the Year Award.
