Stand-up comedy night @ The Mill, Ulverston
Comedy night is on Friday 15th February 2019 in The Loft Bar
This night consists of four brilliant and hilarious comedians. These comedians regularly perform at the top comedy clubs throughout the country, are award winning and most importantly are bloody hilarious!
The line-up is:
MC - Richard Massara
Richard Massara was the winner of two regional comedy awards in 2012 and has been living the high life on the fame, fortune and groupies that those types of accolades bring. Sharp, witty and possessing a charmingly dirty mind, Richard has been making audiences laugh across the UK as well as filling the all important 'white middle class man' quota that is so under-represented in comedy today. He is also an expert and standing still and smiling which has seen him grace your TV screens in many a truly embarrassing television commercial. He is also a podcast host and producer, working with Gary Delaney on the Panelbeaters podcast and resident host of the 2000 Trees festival comedy tent.
"A good writer and a genuine natural" - The Stand, Edinburgh
"Very funny" - BSH Magazine
Opener - Radu Isac
Romanian stand-up comedian who has successfully made the transition into English speaking comedy. Known in Romania as a comedians comedian, in 2015 he decided to move to London and, in his own words, became just an unemployed person with a hobby.
"Certainly impressive" - Beyond the Joke
"Simulataneously sweet and dark" - Chortle
Middle Act - Darcie Silver
Darcie has been described as one of the most exciting new comedians on the circuit. With an eclectic mix of one liners and longer jokes, she has proved to be an audience favourite. Darcie's style is probably best described as somewhere between Gary Delaney and Michael McIntyre.
"Very funny stuff" - Russell Kane
"Very talented joke writer" - Gary Delaney
Headliner - Caroline Mabey
On the circuit since 2005, Caroline skilfully combines edginess with eccentric charm and mischievous banter with strong gags. This, along with her delightful audience interaction make her an ideal compere – she is currently the resident MC at the 99 Club, in London.
"Fabulous off-the-wall lines… will endure in the memory long after you’ve forgotten every word from the big-name stand-ups" – Chortle
"The slightly deranged offspring of a menage a trois between Vic Reeves, Harry Hill and Floella Benjamin" – Bruce Dessau, Evening Standard
Please note the line-up is subject to change. If you are coming to see a specific act then please contact us nearer the time to confirm that the act is still performing.
