Tue 3rd September 2019 - Thu 5th September 2019
By Jack Dean

From the critically-acclaimed rap storyteller Jack Dean comes a raucous new gig theatre show about England’s forgotten revolution.

On 9 June 1817, Jeremiah Brandreth assembles a crew of protesters in a pub near Nottingham. Their plan is to march on London, overthrow the government, wipe out the National Debt and end poverty forever. What Jeremiah doesn’t know is that there is a spy in his ranks with other ideas...

Featuring original live music inspired by hip-hop and cinematic scores, Jeremiah tells the incredible true story of the much-misunderstood Luddite rebellion – a movement that spanned the whole of North of England.

Be prepared to laugh, cry and rise up with Jeremiah.

JOAN, Jeremiah and Terror from the Skies are part of Creative Scene’s ‘We The People’, a season of shows about real people making real change.

Approx. 90 Minutes plus interval.

The show is suitable for ages 14+ but under 18s will need to be accompanied by an adult.
