Presenting Kate Williams' Four Plus Three, a collaboration for trio and string quartet, this time with two special guests, vocalist Georgia Mancio, and classical guitarist John Williams (Kate's father).

Tonight's performance will comprise a set of music with each guest:

1st set: Kate Williams' Four Plus Three with Georgia Mancio
Kate and Georgia will perform a collection of songs, old and newly co-written, for jazz trio, string quartet and voice from their new recording 'Finding Home'. The programme includes works from the American Songbook, Chile and Brazil, plus an original trilogy inspired by true stories of refugees making the often dangerous journeys across Europe. (Georgia volunteered in the Calais refugee camp "The Jungle", meeting residents and NGO charities). Other facets of 'home' include the natural world, and stories of love, loss and hope, ranging from the local to the global but always with a personal resonance.

2nd set: Kate Williams' Four Plus Three with John Williams
The band will play a set of tunes written and arranged by Kate especially for this line-up first performed at London's 606 Club in the summer of 2017. The set will close with a piece featuring all 9 musicians.

Four Plus Three: Kate Williams – piano, Oli Hayhurst - double bass, David Ingamells – drums, John Garner – violin, Marie Schreer – violin, Francis Gallagher – viola, Sergio Serra - cello
Georgia Mancio – voice
