A new performance installation in development
by Hugh Dichmont and Nadim Chaudry

The Scarecrow brings the written word and textural forms together in a unique installation, where
performance and visual art collide.

We invite you to experience an extract of this new work and contribute to a discussion afterwards,
accompanied by a drink and a few nibbles. This is an opportunity to see work-in-progress at first hand and provide invaluable feedback to help shape the future development of the piece.

In 2018 New Perspectives launched OPEN PITCH inviting artists and companies to think about the
creative possibilities the rural environment presents. Over 20 regional artists pitched ideas and New
Perspectives awarded seed funding to Hugh Dichmont and Nadim Chaudry to develop their
inventive response.

Tickets are free of charge and we welcome voluntary donations to support Open Pitch and our an annual participatory programme of opportunities for East Midlands’ artists, theatre makers and communities.

New Perspectives is a registered charity no.1058309 supported using public funding by Arts Council England, Lottery Funded.
