Sam Youd wrote more than half of his 57 published novels while living in Guernsey. Under the pen-name “John Christopher” he became particularly renowned as a writer of dystopian fiction, not least for his books for younger readers, such as The Tripods series (later filmed by the BBC). Introduced by Keith Pengelley of Guernsey Walking Tours, Nick and Rose Youd launch The SYLE Press’s new edition of A Wrinkle in the Skin … in which a seismic cataclysm hits the island!
