On this day - 1st May - in 1786 the Marriage of Figaro was performed for the first time and by way of celebration we are screening the Director’s cut of the award (Oscars, Golden Globes, BAFTA’s etc.) winning film (22 minutes of additional footage).

A fictionalized, music filled biography of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart set in Vienna during the latter half of the 18th century. The film follows Italian composer Antonio Salieri at the court of Emperor Joseph II, and his jealous vendetta against his younger rival, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
