Amadeus Chamber Orchestra

Sat 18th May 2019 7:30PM
St Saviour's Church, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL1 4DF

Amadeus welcomes Michael Wigram and Joel Sandelson for its concert on 18th May at St Saviour's Church in St Albans. The music of three great Classical masters, Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven, is featured. Cellist Michael is no stranger to St Albans – he has previously played concertos by Shostakovich and Brahms with Amadeus, and is much in demand as a chamber musician and teacher in Hertfordshire and beyond. In this concert he plays the lyrical concerto in D major by Haydn.

Since making such an impression in his first concert with Amadeus last year, Joel Sandelson has become Assistant Conductor of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and has worked with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. It is a great coup for Amadeus to have Joel conducting once again!
