Horndean Ukulele Group (HUG)
Join Marco on a Sunday afternoon to play Ukulele. With a fun and varied repertoire of songs, there is no need to be able to read music. However a sense of humour and a joining in attitude helps! This class is suitable for people who have a little ukulele experience and is open to all ages. There are some optional opportunities for public performances.
You do not need to own your own ukulele initially and there is a chance for you to see a wide variety of ukes used by existing class members. After a few weeks you can then decide which one would be right for you to buy. Music sheets are provided, however you may find it helpful to bring a folder and a music stand along (or you can simply use a table).
If you are new to playing Ukulele, there is a beginners class you can join, where this fun instrument will be introduced slowly and yet with gusto! If you would like to join the beginners please contact Gwen on 07710 162504 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Class runs termly, Sunday afternoons 2pm until 3pm in the music room at Horndean Technology College.
This term lasts for 9 weeks, with a half term break in the middle (please note there are no lessons on bank holiday weekends). There are also some optional performances each term.
Sunday 28th April to 14th July
