Mental Health Awareness Week
Mental Health Awareness Week 2019 will take place from Monday 13th to Sunday 19th May 2019.
The theme for this year is Body Image—how we think and feel about our bodies.
We’ll have displays in some of our libraries showcasing the books in our collections that can help support good mental health—and don’t forget that we have a wide range of e-books, too, including books for adults, teenagers and children.
As well as affecting our physical health, what we eat can also affect how we feel. Come along to our Mood and Food coffee morning to discuss recipes, cooking and how food can play a part in promoting mental health and wellbeing. We’ll also have healthy snacks to try!
