Mental Health Awareness Week
Mental Health Awareness Week 2019 will take place from Monday 13th to Sunday 19th May 2019.
The theme for this year is Body Image - how we think and feel about our bodies.
We’ll have displays in some of our libraries showcasing the books in our collections that can help support good mental health—and don’t forget that we have a wide range of e-books, too, including books for adults, teenagers and children.
Lesley Warner will be running an armchair yoga session for those aiming to find a quiet centre within the whirlwind of a stressful existence. The session will involve chair based Hatha yoga with gentle movement and a strong emphasis on relaxation. Suitable for beginners.
