This years’ Junior School Performance, will be formatted in the style of a showcase, with over 15 short scenes performed. A Wonder Woman finds herself worse for wear at the end of a hen night; two homeless men debate the meaning of troublesome parking; a woman who doesn’t understand interview etiquette; and a father who takes his 5-year-old daughter on a long train journey, continually interrupt the infamous story of Peter Pan.
In these snippets of overheard conversations from across the length and breadth of the country, this showcase captures the state we're in with humour, pathos and perfect timing. These scenes in which every one of us could have a starring role are windows into other people's lives that reveal the triumphs, disasters, prejudices, horrors and joys of twenty-first-century life.
Join us through this story based around an interrupted conversation; in which adults struggle to believe in Neverland with the pressures of growing up. It will change the way you listen to the world around you, and train journeys will never be the same again.
