Dust off your dancing shoes and grab a partner for the Skye Food and Drink Festival's classic Scottish Cèilidh night featuring great music, dancing and great craic.
The massively popular Breakish Cèilidh Band will be playing the music. One of the best ceilidh bands on the Island, and always in great demand, the Breakish Cèilidh Band are a group of like-minded musicians who formed in 2010. They play at community cèilidhs, charity events and parties around Skye and Lochalsh, bringing good craic and a new dance or two to all who cèilidh with them.
The seven-piece band of talented musicians comprise Christine Martin, fiddle; Donald MacKenzie, fiddle; Lis Phillips, fiddle and dance caller; Keri, double bass and whistles; Ross Calderwood, pipes; Iain Johnson, guitar; and Ishbel Strachan, accordion and five-string banjo.
The evening includes a bar, wonderful music and a lot of fun for all the family.
