DescriptionSummer nights: two simple words that conjure a multitude of memories. Sitting on sun-soaked terraces, enjoying a simple soundtrack of crashing waves and creaking crickets. Now, thanks to the good people at Headrow House, you're invited to join us from 7.00pm on Monday 5 July to celebrate Summer Nights at Night Vision – an evening of spoken word in partnership with Headrow Lates. Listen to Roz Weaver and Eleanor Snare perform under the evening sun on the Kennedy Meadows roof terrace, enjoy acoustic music over a glass or two of something summery, and have the chance to perform your own ode to Summer Nights in our Open Mic.
Roz is a spoken word performer and internationally published poet living in Leeds. She has been published in a number of journals, zines and anthologies, including most recently with Snapdragon Journal, Voice of Eve and Cultivate. More recently, her work has been on exhibit with London based 'What You Saying?' and performed at Leeds International Festival. Roz is the summer Guest Submission Reader for Printed Words Journal.
