LOST IN LA MANCHA (2002) - Terry Gilliam Season

Sun 6th May 2018
Deptford Cinema, London, SE8 4PQ

Created 16 years ago, this documentary tracks the making of Terry Gilliam’s The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, which at the time never managed to get off the ground. Gilliam has been honest about the difficulties of film production, and the documentary presents a behind-the-scenes look at the trials and tribulations he faced with this project.

It's particularly interesting to look back at this film in 2018 as The Man Who Killed Don Quixote seems to finally be in post-production and could be on our screens later this year! Gilliam is not the only director to have issues with Don Quixote, in fact one might say the story is cursed.

Dir. Keith Fulton and Lois Pepe
