Join us for the first talk in our ‘Questions in Sport’
series, for an insight into how elite athletes may look to optimise performance through a programme of preparation, training and diet – as well as questions around substance misuse.George Morgan (NG 2005):
George is Saracens Performance Nutritionist and has worked closely with England Rugby and West Bromwich Albion FC. He will provide an insight into how methods at Saracens has seen them dominate domestic and European Rugby in recent years, and the requirements of different sports.Andy Parkinson (NG 1982)
is CEO of British Rowing and was previously Head of UK Anti –Doping. Andy will discuss the importance of structure and planning within sporting organisations, and how British Rowing aims to maintain its high ranking position. He will also speak about the challenge of preventing substance misuse within sport.Samantha May (Highgate Netball coach)
will discuss her experiences as an elite athlete both in the UK and in her native Australia. Sam has been a member of the successful Wasps team and has won many titles, including the Netball Super league.
The event will take at The Stanley Building, just off King's Cross station, on Thursday 14 November, at 6pm.Tickets are strictly limited, so please make sure to book to avoid disappointment.
