This 4 week course of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) will provide the inspiration and practical tools to start regaining control of your life. It will introduce some key mindfulness strategies that can help you more effectively handle the stresses and challenges that life inevitably brings, and also provide you with a framework for developing your own personal compass for life.
ACT does this by:
· Teaching mindfulness skills to deal with challenging thoughts and feelings effectively – in such a way that they impact you less; and
· Helping you clarify what is truly important and meaningful to you - i.e. your values - and how to use that knowledge to guide, inspire and motivate positive life changes.
