Behind the Smile

Mon 25th March 2019 - Tue 26th March 2019
Antwerp Mansion, Manchester, M14 5RF
The second year Theatre and Performance students are devising a site-specific piece of work delving into the history and social connection of Antwerp Mansion. We have previously visited locations including abandoned swimming pools, police museums, and empty warehouses.

Behind the Smile is a turntabled exploration of the historic Antwerp Mansion.  When old meets new, when past meets present, and when periods in time collide.

If you like your theatre with BASS then this is for you.

***DISCLAIMER Unfortunately the building has no disabled access, due to age of the building***

Directed by Graham Hicks
Devised and created by 2nd Year Theatre and Performance. The Arden

Choose Life, choose old, choose new, choose the future, choose to live in the past wishing you had done it all differently.
Choose to smile, laugh, cry, and hate.
Choose to watch hours of mind-numbing reality TV.
Choose to allow history to repeat itself.
Choose friends. Choose to party. Choose to not give a thought to the person next to you.
Choose love.
Choose dance.
Choose LIFE!
