ICAT Manchester Open Day
Are you looking to take your acting career to the next level, make a career out of your passion and enter the world of professional acting?
The Independent Centre for Actor Training is changing the face of actor training; with fees at a fraction of the cost of full time drama school, some of the country's best loved actors amongst our teaching staff and graduates going on to gain excellent representation and work across stage and screen.
The ICAT open day is your chance to experience the outstanding teaching and ethos of this exciting school for FREE. Running from 10am-1pm and taking place concurrently at both our Manchester and London schools, the open day provides a practical introduction to our 2 year part time professional actor training course. Additionally this is an opportunity to meet staff and ask questions, followed by the chance to audition for the course.
The morning will begin with a movement session and introduction to LABAN for actors followed by a workshop on the principles of action and impulse, pioneered by international theatre director and ICAT course adviser Mike Alfreds. Both sessions will be led by ICAT practitioners and there will be a Q and A about the courses and opportunities we offer to follow.
