Garden Pests & The Zoo Story

Two One Act Plays to be performed in our studio

Garden Pests by Jean McConneell
This short one act comedy, is about two keen gardeners, from different social backgrounds, who meet in a magnificent garden from which neither intends to go home empty handed.

The Zoo Story by Edward Albee
A stunning tour de force that made Albee's reputation. This is a theatrically simple yet thematically complex long one-act play in which two men, strangers to each other meet in Central Park on a summer Sunday afternoon. The play explores themes of isolation, loneliness, miscommunication, social disparity, and dehumanization in a materialistic world. The drama accelerates to an unexpected climax.
