The Great North Museum: Hancock will be hosting a relaxed animal handling sessions for people with autism, learning disabilities , sensory and communication disorders or anyone else who finds it easier to experience the museum in a quieter setting, along with their families and carers.
There will be the opportunity to handle some creepy crawlies (if you dare!) from Bugsnstuff between 10.00 - 11.00 am. There will be timed slots of 15 minutes at;
10.00 - 10.15
10.15 - 10.30
10.30 - 10.45
10.45 - 11.00
At 11.00 the animal handling will open up to the general public until 15.00.
