Women of Tyneside: Deeds Not Words Walk

A guided walk of approximately 90 minutes, across Newcastle, highlighting key and important sites linked to the suffragette movement in the region. This will include sites associated with the events of 9 October 1909, known as the Battle of Newcastle, where many suffragettes were arrested for their actions.
The walk will begin at Haymarket and end at Central Station.
