Moor Medieval Conference
Join us for the Moor Medieval Conference, an opportunity to find out about new research carried out by the Moor Medieval study group over the last four years. Focusing on the period between the late eleventh and the early sixteenth centuries, we'll be looking at the development of Dartmoor’s landscape, the ways in which people made a living, the impact of the Black Death, and the extraordinary period of economic and social change that brought the Middle Ages to a close. We will be joined by eminent historian Professor Chris Dyer, who will be giving a short talk.
A light lunch and refreshments throughout the day will be provided.
This is a free event, funded by the Moor than meets the eye Landscape Partnership Scheme.
