Nicholas Daniel’s weekend of concerts contrasts a programme of music for piano and winds with one for oboe and strings.
Saturday evening’s concert includes the premiere of a new piece by Alexander Goehr specially commissioned for the occasion by NNCM.
On Sunday morning, in a new departure, concert-goers have an opportunity to sit in on a master-class with Nicholas Daniel coaching local oboe students.
